Kjære venner, her slutter min vei

i en job som jeg langt fra er lei,

“But the Show must go on”!

21.07.1969

(July 20th in USA) That's one small step for [a] man, one giant leap for mankind. Words said when Armstrong first stepped onto the Moon (20 July 1969). In the actual sound recordings he apparently fails to say "a" before "man" and says: "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."

It may seem quite a long time ago
Fifty years quite exactly, you know
we put men on the moon
and you see, pretty soon
Mars is next in the “space domino”!

Apollo 11 was the spaceflight that landed the first two people on the Moon. Commander Neil Armstrong and lunar module pilot Buzz Aldrin, both American, landed the Apollo Lunar Module Eagle on July 20, 1969, at 20:17 UTC. Armstrong became the first person to step onto the lunar surface six hours later on July 21 at 02:56:15 UTC; Aldrin joined him 19 minutes later. (Wikipedia)
